Since January 2018 we have opened a course Czech after school purposed for Prague school children (1st to 9th grade) with the different mother tongue.

Pre-intermediate A1 (6-16 years old)

Summer Intensive Czech Language Course for Kids aged 12 - 16 (beginners A0)
Summer Intensive Czech Language Course for Kids 2018 will take place in July/August 2018. The registration will be available in June 2018.
The course is intended for children aged 12-16, who had previously studied abroad and will be first enrolled in the Czech school this September 2018.

WHEN: 23.7.2018 - 17.8.2018 - MON, WED, FRI - 8:30-12:00
WHERE: V Tůních 10, Prague 2
EXTENT: 50 x 45 minutes

* The last lesson will take place on Friday, 17.8.2018, 9:00 - 15:30 at the Prague Zoo (entrance for the child is covered by the parents).

1. For whom is the course determined?
For children aged 12-16 years old, who have previously studied abroad and will be first enrolled in the Czech school in September 2018, the country of origin and the type of residence do not matter.

2. How many children are in the Course?
The maximum number of children in the group is 10.

3. How do I enroll a child in the Course?

  • register online,
  • we will invite you and the child to enroll and sign the contract for attendance at the course (at META, V Tůních 10, Prague 2),
  • You can pay the course in cash when signing the contract at the META office (V Tůních 10, Prague 2) or by bank transfer to META account No. 2300884089/2010 (please always state you child's name and surname in the note).

4. What textbook should we buy?
All materials are prepared by a course teacher (combining different textbooks and own materials).

5. Is Teacher Native Speaker? Does the teacher have experience with teaching children?
Yes, our teachers are university educated native speakers and they have a rich experience of teaching Czech for children.

6. Where the classes take place?
In META classroom, V Tůních 10, Prague 2.

7. Will the certificate be awarded at the end of the course?
Yes, if the children attend the course regularly.
